Resistance means La Ilaha Ilallah

Resistance means La Ilaha Ilallah

We’ve witnessed resistance for over a year, but do we really understand what it means to resist? Is it joining protests? Showing up with rocks to a gunfight? Or dancing amongst the ruins and the rubble?

Resistance exists in countless forms, from the most basic to the most profound. It’s all a stand against oppression, a refusal to let our rights be stolen. But this war posed a question. A question to an answer that i was still unsure of... "what is resistance?" We know the dictonary meaning but what is it at its core.

This had been on my mind for a while, and it wasn’t until I saw this picture that I think I finally understood its true meaning.

This beautiful, empowered moment screams "La ilaha illallah," and from it, I came to the realization that resistance means "There is no God but Allah." Some may think I’m just plain foolish, but when I look at this picture, all I see is a woman in complete service to Allah (swt), dressed in the garments of Sayedah Zeinab (a.s.), placing her full trust in the truth of one God. With her unwavering belief in Allah (swt), she is invincible against falsehood because, to her, death is not to be feared—it’s something she’s been preparing for. If Death is the will of Allah, then "I see nothing but beauty."

There is no one or no thing with more power than Al-Muqtadir, not an isnotreal tanker, not all the bombs in the world and certainly not lil benji😉

Yours Truley,
